Arts Award

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art is an Arts Award Supporter organisation, which means that we can support young people and organisations to achieve the Arts Award (Bronze, Sliver and Gold).

At Bronze level, we regularly offer focussed Arts Award weekends. These are fun way for 14-19 year olds to achieve their Bronze Arts Awards in a single weekend, by taking part in a variety of art workshops based in and around BALTIC’s exhibitions supported by a member of BALTIC’s artist team.

Arts Award Weekend
6-7 May
This FREE opportunity is a fantastic way for you to achieve a Bronze Arts Award, in a single weekend*. Working with BALTIC artist Paul Merrick and using BALTIC’s exhibitions as a focus, you will experiment with different visual art techniques; explore your arts inspiration and share techniques and skills. Bronze Arts Award is a nationally recognised Level 1 Award with a QCF credit value of 6.

Places are limited so please book early by contacting Rachael Rickwood on 01914404957 or rachaelr@balticmill.com

*Please note some participants may be asked to attend an Arts Award moderation for one evening later on in the year
